RIJHUB ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how users may access and use RijHub ("RijHub", "we", "our", or "us"). RijHub is a web and mobile marketplace connecting customers with independent artisans.

By accessing or using RijHub, you agree to comply with this AUP, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Scope of Application

This policy applies to all users of RijHub, including but not limited to:

  • Customers
  • Artisans
  • Visitors
  • Partners
  • Advertisers

3. Permitted Use

You may use RijHub only for lawful purposes, including:

  • Searching for artisans or services
  • Creating and managing a genuine user or artisan profile
  • Posting legitimate job requests
  • Communicating respectfully with other users
  • Uploading authentic portfolios and service information
  • Leaving honest and factual reviews

4. Prohibited Activities

You must NOT use RijHub to engage in any of the following:

4.1 Illegal or Fraudulent Activities

  • Engaging in illegal services or transactions
  • Impersonating another person or business
  • Posting false or misleading information
  • Creating fake accounts or reviews
  • Attempting to defraud users or RijHub

4.2 Abuse, Harassment & Harm

  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or offensive content
  • Stalking or intimidation
  • Sexual harassment or exploitation

4.3 Platform Abuse

  • Attempting to bypass platform fees or commissions
  • Soliciting users to transact outside RijHub to avoid fees
  • Manipulating search rankings, reviews, or ratings
  • Scraping data or harvesting user information
  • Reverse engineering or tampering with the platform

4.4 Content Violations

You may not upload, post, or transmit content that:

  • Is false, misleading, or deceptive
  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit
  • Promotes violence, extremism, or criminal activity

4.5 Security & System Misuse

  • Attempting unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • Interfering with platform performance or security
  • Conducting denial-of-service (DoS) attacks
  • Introducing malicious software

5. Reviews & Ratings Integrity

  • Reviews must reflect actual service experiences
  • Fake, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited
  • RijHub reserves the right to remove or moderate reviews that violate this policy

6. Artisan-Specific Rules

Artisans must:

  • Provide truthful profile and service information
  • Perform services professionally and legally
  • Respect customer privacy and property
  • Avoid misrepresentation of skills, pricing, or certifications

Failure to comply may result in suspension, delisting, or permanent ban.

7. Enforcement & Penalties

RijHub may take any of the following actions if this policy is violated:

  • Content removal
  • Temporary account suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Restriction of platform features
  • Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law

RijHub reserves the right to act without prior notice in severe cases.

RijHub does not guarantee monitoring of all user activity but reserves the right to investigate suspected violations. Failure to enforce this policy in one instance does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
